Design of boulder chute reconstruction
Zahradníková, Lenka ; Julínek, Tomáš (referee) ; Uhmannová, Hana (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to design a boulder chute reconstruction for the Rožnovská Bečva watercourse at 10,865 river kilometers. The design proposes adjustments of the watercourse of the total length of 642,8m. The thesis also includes designed parameters for the boulder chute reconstruction at 10,865 river kilometers. The current watercourse capacity was assessed using the HEC-RAS 4.1.0 software and a computational model was made of the parameters of the chute. The capacity of the newly designed riverbed was verified using HEC-RAS 4.1.0. Based on the calculations, the boulder chute reconstruction was designed.
A draft amendment selected section of of the watercourse
Vyplel, Adam ; Blahuta, Jaroslav (referee) ; Šlezingr, Miloslav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the draft amendment of the selected section of the Veverka watercourse in the cadastral area of Brno-Bystrc in the km 0,632 to 0,918 of watercourse. The adaptation is mainly done as a draft for the stabilization of damaged banks by means of stone retaining wall, wooden pole fencing, stone riprap and gabions. The suitability of the given measures was determined on the basis of the current state of the watercourse. In the chosen section there is a sedimentation reservoir with a boulder chute that has been subjected to an assessment of the stability of the slope surface. Then the HEC-RAS program is used to verify the flow capacity of the whole flow channel for the one-year flow Q1 condition. Subsequently, the vegetation accompaniment and the coastal vegetation of the selected section of the watercourse were designed in order to naturally connect the watercourse to the surrounding forest vegetation.
Possibilities of stream restoration in urban environment
Zouhar, Radim ; Veselá, Olga (referee) ; Králová, Helena (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the options of stream restoration with its surroundings in a place of nature area „Na Loukách“ in town district „Mokrá Hora“. The thesis also describes current condition and development of the land use of focused area. There is junction of three creeks in the focused area. In part of this area there is not original depth of ground water surface due to adjustment of Rakovec creek. This thesis introduces three options of increasing depth of ground water surface. Evaluation of the current condition of creeks was performed by the HEM method. Hydraulic calculations were made in HEC-RAS program.
Flood protection of the municipality Brantice
Zahradníková, Lenka ; Niklová, Věra (referee) ; Uhmannová, Hana (advisor)
The thesis is concerned with the design of a flood protection for the Brantice municipality, a part of which is an adjustment of the Opava river stream bed, specifically kilometer 77,6554 to 78,7020 and, moreover, a design of a reconstruction of the weir at kilometer 78,340. A capacity assessment of the original stream bed in the built-up area and its surroundings is a part of the thesis, as well as a measure to increase the stream capacity and a design of a boulder chute with a water gate, which replaced the original weir. The program HEC-RAS 4.1.0. was used for the stream capacity calculations.
Reconstruction of the weir in Brantice village
Filipi, Josef ; Bokiš, Miroslav (referee) ; Uhmannová, Hana (advisor)
Topic of Diploma thesis is „Reconstruction of the weir in the Brantice village.“ The theoretical part of their focus deals with the definition and putting patterns associa-ted with the design-ing reconstruction of the weir. In the practical part were made three proposals reconstructions of the weir, which are mathematically based, graphically pre-sented and discussed.
Project of revitalization part of Kninicky brook
Vyplel, Adam ; Svoboda, Ondřej (referee) ; Šlezingr, Miloslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the proposal of systematic revitalization of the selected section of the Knínický brook in the cadastral area of Veverské Knínice. It is a straight, very deep channel due to technical adjustments in the past. The HEC-RAS program verifies the capacity of the channel for the Q100 flow. In this way, it was found that the channel has very high capacity so a new route with Q1 flow capacity was designed. Due to the height conditions, the design also included three boulder chutes. Subsequently, the vegetation accompaniment and bank stands were suitably supplemented.
Design of boulder chute reconstruction in Lomná river at km 1,9
Hrabovský, Michal ; Golík,, Pavel (referee) ; Zachoval, Zbyněk (advisor)
The thesis deals the assessment of the resistance of the existing boulder chute in the river Lomná. At km 1,9 Boulder chute is located in the village Jablunkov. Surface resistance of boulder chute is assessed newly on the basis of non-dimensional shear stress for particle on arbitrarily sloped bed. The calculation of 2D flow was computed by HEC-RAS. On the assessment of resistance was proposed reconstruction of boulder chute.
Revitalization of the Small Water Reservoir in the Skalička u Hranic Cadastral Area
Majkus, Martin ; Havlíček, Tomáš (referee) ; Paseka, Stanislav (advisor)
The aim of this paper is to propose a comprehensive revitalization of the side pond in the cadastral area of Skalička. As part of revitalization measures, the removal of mud from the pond, fortification of the banks and other modifications in connection with functional structures are proposed. In order to take water into the pond, a concrete diversion structure in the Hlubocky stream bed is designed, connected with pond via open canal with 2 pools, which will substitute the existing supply pipeline. As part of stabilization of the streambed and to overcome height difference, a boulder chute with stilling basin and related modifications are designed. The introductory part is a summary of knowledge from the issue and it explains important terms, historical context and description of basic principles. The next part describes the current situation and conditions in the surveyed locality. The following is a description of the methods and programs that were used for this work. The design part presents the proposed revitalization measures. An essential part of the work is also the varification of the proposed modification in the streambed, using 3D digital terrain model in Atlas DMT and subsequent 1D flow simulation in HEC-RAS.
The revitalization project of the selected section of the watercourse
Skřížala, Lukáš ; Blahuta, Jaroslav (referee) ; Šlezingr, Miloslav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with revitalization in the selected section on the watercourse Ondřejnice. Purpose of the revitalization is especially the removal of the migration obstacles creating conditions for the natural development of the trough, without any need of standard maintenance by the flow manager. In the bachelor thesis have been replaced some stone steps by the boulder slip, the wooden gradients have been replaced by some new wooden steps with holes for the migration of animals. Then were in the watercourse designed some Fish shelters. At the places where the gradient adjustment will take place, will be designed a new vegetation accompaniment. By the design of the revitalization measures there will be no worsening of the drainage ratios.
